Medication struggles

Not sure how it's already been basically two weeks since I wrote my last post but... fair enough, I guess. Time is a strange thing. This last two weeks I've spent roleplaying on WWRP with Mew, Onyon and my new in-game friends. Last night I played for hours. We went to Coulter, a mountain-top snowy village usually overrun with bandits and gangs, in order to go "sledding" (aka getting in a canoe at the top of a hill and rowing it down, on the snow).
Last time I let Colette put me in a boat I got impaled on a bridge and needed to be rushed to the nearest town for medical attention, so I couldn't help but have my character questioning constantly why he was even there. The night ended with me almost killing one of the most prominent judges in the state by plowing him down with my canoe... resulting in multiple limb dislocations and amnesia. That'll be a fun story to tell.
I'm thinking of writing a character journal for Ulrich (the character I play) that keeps track of stuff like this, so I can look back on it for reference or fun.
I got my energy rating email yesterday! They told me I didn't meet the minimum 6 star requirement because my insulation was not good enough which was confusing as I hadn't been asked about insulation nor had my builder provided any insulation information... luckily they gave us the correct specifications in order to make it pass the energy rating and so I should be receiving my stamped plans soon! Just another piece of the puzzle hopefully being ticked off so I can finally get started building the house.
Guy got covid a few weeks ago which was kind of a bummer. Jess and I managed to avoid getting it for the week (which was good!). I went to Dan's on the Monday and when I went to go home on Tuesday after work I found out not only was Guy still testing positive but Jess had contracted it too. I packed a bag of clothes and went to stay with Dan for the rest of the week, returning on the Saturday to lock myself in my room and go overboard with hand sanitizer.
I had a good week with Dan though, despite not having my PC and being a little lost for what to do when he went to work. We went out for dinner on Wednesday for Pizza at a really good restaurant that ordinarily isn't open on the days I spend with him. I got a spicy pizza with fresh chili, hot salami, mozzarella, rocket and prawns and it was incredible. We also ate a lot of Vietnamese food. Dan's work just makes such good food and they're such nice people, constantly taking items off our bill and giving us free drinks even when we protest.
Last thing about the past few weeks.. I started weening off my existing medication which has been helping with my chronic pain and fatigue and onto a new one that's supposedly going to help with all those things and more. Unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a grey area right now where the old medication is wearing off and leaving me fatigued and uncomfortable and the new one hasn't kicked in and likely won't for a few more weeks until I'm on the full dose. I've been sleeping through all my alarms, struggling to get moving, finding it difficult to focus AND I somehow managed to pull a muscle and started limping around everywhere for half of last week. It's been rough.
There's a long weekend coming up in June and after the last DrunkScape with Lyle, I went and bought some cigars to celebrate! It cost a pretty penny at $50 a cigar but hey, experiences with friends is far more important than money. At least, when you're in the position I'm in.
Here's to more roleplay, more house developments, good pizza and new and improved medication!
