In my last blog post I ranted about my plumber... well hell, didn't that go to absolute shit at the speed of light. A few days after my last post I went to the Henty Machinery Field Days with Dan, Guy and my dad. We had a great day out and Dan really enjoyed himself. My feet were killing me by the end of the day but that's what walking 15km in a day will do to you.

The day after at work I got a copy of the plumbing permit application from my plumber and oh boy, shit hit the fan. I know I tore his asshole to shreds in my last post, but he really had the audacity to drop us off a form that I not only had already pre-filled and given to him in May but the parts that he filled out were flat out wrong and would have been instantly denied by the council. It's almost like he didn't read the land capability assessment I gave him in May or looked at the floor plans that I gave him in, you guessed it... MAY. We decided to engage a new plumber after that, and thankfully my new plumber is an absolute legend. In less than a few days he came out to the property, inspected it, read the report, filled out the application and we had it submitted. He's also just supplied me a quote for all the plumbing works for the house including the septic and.... I hate building a house.

I just have to keep reminding myself that it's the entire bill for the entire house's plumbing and ignore the fact that it's over $50,000 for my own sanity's sake.

I shut down TBP Origins on the weekend too. It was a good run but definitely a bit of a weird season. I can't help but feel like the community is just kind of done with Minecraft at the moment, but we'll see how things go.
